ECM11 Call for Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts for papers in estuarine and coastal circulation and pollutant transport modeling. The focus of the conference is on the application of models to solve engineering and environmental assessment problems.
Possible Session Topics
- Circulation Modeling
- Pollutant Transport and Water Quality Prediction
- Modeling Techniques and Sensitivity Studies
- Model-Data Comparison Methods
- Specific Estuarine and Coastal System Models
- Visualization in Model/Data Analysis
- Wave and Sediment Transport Modeling
- Modeling of Chemicals and Floatables
- Hazardous Waste Fate Prediction
- Inverse Methods
- Facility Siting and CSO Studies
- Data Assimilation
- Nowcast/Forecast Modeling Systems
- Multi-media Modeling: Linking Models of Terrestrial/Atmospheric/Coastal Systems
- Modeling of Coastal Systems with Strong Buoyancy Forcing
- Modeling of Multi-disciplinary, Coupled Systems
Abstract Content
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must include the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of all authors. One of the authors must be specified as the contact person. Abstracts should be submitted via the www.regonline.com/ecm11. Finally, each abstract must explicitly indicate the presentation format ( i.e. traditional presentation, computer aided presentation, poster presentation, panel discussion, or mini symposia). Authors must commit to present the paper and meet conference deadlines. Authors will be limited to one paper as first author and two papers total. Faxed submissions will not be considered.
All accepted abstracts will be published and posted at www.regonline.com/ecm11. Authors will be invited to prepare manuscripts for potential publication in a post-conference, peer-reviewed volume.
